K'lanu….The Only Thing Missing Is "U"!!!!
As we near the
High Holidays, our excitement about our Kulanu Campaign continues
to grow! We are drawing ever nearer towards our High Holiday
goal and are anxious to report to all of our Temple Beth El
members. When we began this campaign we committed ourselves
to try and reach every member of our congregation. We began
this process over three months ago and have been working very
hard to speak with each and every member of our temple Beth
El family and we are poised to make another big push to reach
all of you.
Although
the Summer is always a difficult time to reach people with
vacations and travel taking place (although the weather did
not always cooperate!), we still managed to get in touch with
well over 200 families. The response from those whom we did
have the opportunity to speak with was very positive. Many
of the areas that are going to be addressed with the funds
raised from Kulanu are clearly going into key focal points.
Wherever questions have been raised, our team has taken the
time to explain how and what is planned and how it will improve
areas of concern.
Since
our original plan was formed and presented, we have gone back
to the architect with responses received from our congregation
members and are now having some revisions worked up to address
issues raised. Again, this entire process has been exciting
and positive, and the work being done will create a space
to worship, study, meet socially in an environment that is
accessible and welcoming to ALL OF US...together.
So
with all of the excitement and positive energy being generated
from the Kulanu Campaign, you're probably asking yourself
"How can I get in the middle of all this incredible excitement?"
Well K lanu...the only thing missing is "U"! Take time out
during this very important series of Holy Days to explore
your feelings for Temple Beth El. A chance to leave a living
